Never again. Use one of the kiosks next door if you’re renting at the airport.
oh, i called customer service to complain, they said they just take the complain and just file it away. double whammy!!
I don't normally rent from Dollar but i made a mistake this time. We were at the location for 2 hours. the car wasnt ready.the first car i got was flat, so i waited 2 hours for a broken car. the second car reeks of cigarette smoke. no wonder they are cheap, but the price werent. Never again!
I really enjoyed the rental and the service. They do not hold any additional charges on my credit card. I really appreciate that. The rates are affordable and the cars are great. The 10 mile gas policy could be better. I do not feel you should have to fill up a gas tank 10 miles before your drop the car off. This would cost you some of the gas you just refilled.
Got nickeled and dimed into paying an exorbitant amount for a two-day rental. The cost was 3x as much as I've paid at other places.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, during the return process I got some extreme attitude from the lady working the desk for no reason other than politely asking a couple of questions. Ruined my night.
Horrible. Awful. Beware. Charged me for a tank of gas on my credit card when I returned the car full. Despite having proof on my credit card statement they refused refund, did not respond to letters and fought my dispute with the credit card company. They are either totally incompetent or scamming. Also the car I was given was not clean and about the worst thing I ever rented.
Absolutely terrible! Was forced to take a $103 taxi ride because the manager was not there to override. If dollar rental is only going to allow managers to do certain things then a manager needs to be present during all business hours. The front desk was very nice but couldn't do anything to help. I was practically in tears, travelled thousands of miles, have to go to training and I can't get a car because the front desk isn't authorized to do what the customer needs. Terrible business. Will never support again.
