I enjoyed how plush the grounds were. Many shade trees and benches for sitting. The lawns are mowed weekly and the grounds are kept clean and well maintained. The swimming pool goes down to 8feet deep, which was great because I enjoy swimming. There is a nice bbq area where people sometimes cook or have little kid parties which I thought was nice.
I lived there from 2015 to 2017. I loved that the neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. There is a range of renters from very old(er) residents to young couples. The residents keep to themselves for the most part.
When staff leaves for good because their moral conscience about what their selling is eating at them, you need to run far far away. They aren't your family, and they aren't your friend. They arent even your land lord. They are happy to let you live in expensive squalor and punish you HARSHLY for ever leaving. You know how to fix that? Don't ever stay. Once you sign on the dotted line, you are in for the most expensive and disappointing lease in your life. Hope you like mold behind your drywall ;) yum!
I been here and not able to use my patio for spiders and bugs its was never cleaned. My apartment had not been updated as they told me it would.
I don't know why there are so many bad reviews of Quail Hollow. I've been living here for a year and it has been just fine. The fixtures are up to date for the most part, the AC works fine, and this is SC... there are bugs everywhere and in every home. No matter if it's an apartment or $1 million house ....get used to it. Also the staff is great, the maintenance guys are fast to respond, very professional, and nice people to deal with. The front office workers are great as well, very nice and professional. Quail hollow is great, it's a lot better then other complexes in the area and you get your moneys worth in apartment size and convenience to all that Lexington and Columbia has to offer.
Worse experience of my life. The day before signing my lease the manager asked to change my move in date because the unit wasn't up to her standards. We agreed upon a new move in date and the manager decide to pick her own date. The manager never answered the phone nor emails to give update info reflecting the new lease date. After several days I showed up to the office only to find out they are no longer holding my unit because I had missed my move in date which was suppose to be 2 days later and that I had to pay $600 more to move in. No one will call me back. My residential portal has been deactivated and the unit I was moving in is back available on the website. I'm out of money and about to be homeless with 3 kids and the only excuse I was giving is the manager is new
The biggest draw backs to this place were the centipedes that come out of the woodwork once a year, and the billing...there was always something funky about the billing. I'd prefer a flat rent fee, that way there's no question how much is owed but even with that Trish and her staff was always courteous. I would have stayed if I didn't move out of State.
I thought the staff was very professional. I never had any issues with them. They were very kind and helpful whenever I had any issues. Trish really did a great job managing the property. When they introduced the new upgrades I jumped on it! The design was so nice and it was scheduled in a matter of days. Although it increased my rent, it was still very worth it. The maintenance men were good as well. I never waited more than a day for maintenance issues. The apartments are older... so they come with their own set of problems but I do believe the maintenance guys did their best with what they could do. Leaks and mold are an issue that needs to be addressed.
