Enrolling at Midlands Technical College has been one of the best decisions of my life. After not attending college for over a decade, I was left nervous and unsure of myself academically. The teachers and additional staff have made going to college fun and exciting. Whether you are a first year or returning student, I highly recommend attending Midlands Technical College.
Pretty good experience. Graduated back in 2015 and transferred to university. Most students there transfer, but that doesn't mean that the school is bad. There programs are top notch and important for the local economy.
If you are just starting out for college, this will be an okay place to get the beginnings of your education. The professors seem to be great and knowledgeable about their subject matter. However, I have had the worst time with Financial Aid, with the Registration process and other services similar to this. It's kind of the philosophy -"you get what you pay for." You pay less for credits here and they treat you like such. Also the furniture for adult students is awful. I feel like I'm back in high school with the hard desks and the uncomfortable arrangements. I have to sit for 3 hours in one class in those hard desks and it is a strain on my knees and back. I think I would pay more in tuition if they did better customer service and got comfortable furniture to accommodate the adults who take classes there.
