I bought a new ceiling fan for my apartment to replace the old one that was provided to me. When I called Rytec, they were friendly, informative and efficient in helping me get this set up. They let me know of everything I needed to expect for the instillation and went through what my costs would be instead of ball-parking it. I was already pleased with the service, but what really blew me away was when the technician, Jeremy, called me day of. He had finished his previous job early and called to see if he would be able to come by early. He was in and out in 30 minutes and was a pleasure to deal with! He was friendly, talkative and didn't track dirt through my place (which is my biggest pet peeve). I was very pleased with the results from Rytec and look forward to using them again in the future.
We needed to have an outlet installed for a microwave. When I called to get a quote from Steve he said it would be $150 at the most and that they could install the microwave too. I thought that was great! However the guys came and did the work and charged me $279. This is more than the microwave we were installing. Also after they left there was saw dust, screws, and pieces of wood on the counter and in the cabinet. I should not have paid them but I felt uncomfortable. My husband called as soon as they left to speak to Steve. A few days later we still hadn't heard from him to discuss our complaint so we called again. It's been weeks now and we still have not heard from Steve or anyone from his company. We will not use Rytec Electric again.
I have had the guys from Rytec into my house three or four times to help me with small electrical needs. They have always been prompt, clean and very reasonable. I also work in an industry that requires often that our customers have an electrical outlet with more power than a standard 120 V outlet. In all four situations my clients have been very pleased. I recommend Steven and his crew to anyone who needs electrical jobs done around the house or around their business.
