Almost all the cats are adoptable and it’s the perfect way to “test drive” a cat before taking him home. I learned they’re helping to remove cats from kill shelters, which is brilliant.

I'm not certain why someone gave this cat Cafe one star when it hasn't open yet. I think having a cat Cafe is an awesome idea seeing that I'm a cat person and love coffee. I hope that the inhonest
Took off a star for drinks, were very meh (Keurig, powdered creamers)... I think if they made it so that the cafe part was more alluring, it’d be perfect!
Such a great place! My mom and I drove up last night to eat at one of Columbia's vegetarian restaurants and visit the brand new cat cafe. The location is great. The coffee we had, Winter Blend, was fabulous. The staff was so nice and friendly. And of course the cats were amazing! The upstairs is like a full-scale cat apartment. So nice! Better than my own! The cats had lots of places to lounge, to play, to hide. You could tell they were all right at home. I had the pleasure of quite a few coming to visit me and even one snuggling on my lap for a long time! If you are in the Columbia area, definitely check it out! We will be back for visits anytime we are up that way!
Would also recommend having more info about how they’re helping cats (removing the number in kill shelters) and how to adopt them (process, pricing) upstairs where you’re spending the most time :)
This is a fun new addition to Columbia. Upon entry, you pay $15 which covers: one pre-package snack, a beverage (hot cocoa, coffee, etc.) and a set amount of time upstairs with the cats. The snacks and drinks aren’t really high quality because the fee goes to local animal rescues so they want to keep operating costs low. You then head upstairs and hang out with some furry friends in one of the 3/4 rooms. There are cat toys and sofas to lounge on. Also, the cats are adoptable.
